Why I made OpenToIt

OpenToIt is a social experiment in how we share feedback and how we receive it.

Motivation

I'm passionate about human potential and helping people grow. In my experience, holding back feedback is often self-protecting, and we could serve others more by sharing our observations.

I keep coming back to this principle from Ray Dalio: Do not hide your observations about people.

Philosophy

Feedback can be self-serving. OpenToIt is a reminder to serve the recipient.
Wrapping a gift creates a social experience that respects timing, consent, and choice.
The receiver decides what to do with it: open now, come back later, or clear it away.
